Perfectly Tailored Classroom
Will this be on the test? A question every student contemplates at some point or another. The test—a measure of curriculum mastery. Supposedly. Yet every student receives the same study material, despite vastly different learning styles and developmental stages. Thirty unique minds, one identical exam to compare us all.
One of our educational system's greatest limitations is its inability to customize learning for individual students. Each of us forced to learn through cookie-cutter curricula.
But consider this: you're currently enrolled in the most sophisticated instructional program ever designed. One that creates perfectly tailored lessons, updated not just daily but moment by moment, specifically calibrated to your exact learning needs. It's called Life.
Every experience that triggers a reaction is part of the syllabus. When someone's words sting, when circumstances don't unfold as preferred, when anxiety suddenly surfaces—these aren't random inconveniences. They're precisely targeted study guides, revealing what A Course in Miracles calls "blocks to the awareness of love's presence."
Each instruction finely tuned to demonstrate that lack of peace is not caused by external events but by the activation of these internal obstructions. The lessons meet us right where we are, with the goal of helping advance on our learning journey. Which we can do by allowing the blockage to surface, observing it with gentleness, and letting it dissolve into nothingness.
As we read in the Course, "Trials are but lessons that you failed to learn presented once again, so where you made a faulty choice before you now can make a better one, and thus escape all pain that what you chose before has brought to you."
Join me in Thursday's class where we'll explore how to recognize these perfect teachings and discover the extraordinary freedom that emerges from embracing our customized curriculum. I look forward to seeing you then.
